    Tehreen Khan, MD, FACC, is board certified in internal medicine with subspecialty certification in cardiovascular diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a cardiology specialist at Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA, located in Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida.She obtained her medical degree from the Dow Medical College and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals in Houston, Texas. Dr. Khan is also board certified in nuclear cardiology, vascular, and echocardiography.Dr. Khan began a post-doctoral fellowship in circulatory physiology in congestive heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and ventricular assist devices at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, New York. She also began a fellowship in cardiology at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York, and an echocardiography Level III fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. Dr. Khan’s major interests lie in noninvasive cardiac imaging, congestive heart failure, valvular heart diseases, nuclear cardiology, and peripheral vascular disease.
