Professional BackgroundStephen W. Mester, MD, FACC, is a cardiology specialist at Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA, with offices in Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida. Dr. Mester is board certified in internal medicine with subspecialty certification in cardiovascular diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine, he completed his residency at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Mester received his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at the USF College of Medicine.Dr. Mester is currently the medical director of Electrophysiology Laboratory at Tampa General Hospital and chief of Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Surgery at Brandon Regional Hospital.
