Maria Ines Carroll , MSN, FNP-BC

Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay. Maria’s healthcare journey began as an EMT and Paramedic before earning her nursing degree. She spent 13 years at the bedside, primarily in the emergency department, before earning her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Governors University. After working in primary care, she joined the cardiology team in October 2024 with a particular passion for inpatient cardiology.

Maria is deeply committed to preventive health and believes empowering patients to take charge of their health is among the most meaningful work a provider can do.
