Professional Background
Jenna Tommas, MSN, ACNP-AG, is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Acute Care and Adult-Gerontology. As a lifelong New Jersey resident, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in 2018.
Jenna began her advanced practice career in pulmonology before transitioning to the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, where she gained extensive experience managing complex acute and chronic conditions and performing a variety of specialized procedures. She later returned to the emergency department, providing care for a broad range of medical conditions—from minor injuries and infections to life-threatening cardiac emergencies. Throughout her career, Jenna has also provided telehealth and occupational health services, further broadening her clinical experience and knowledge.
For the past several years, Jenna has led a unique cardiopulmonary-focused program dedicated to the health and wellness of first responders. Through this work, she has developed a particular passion for cardiovascular health and preventive care, with a strong emphasis on patient education and early intervention.
Jenna is committed to building meaningful, trusting relationships with her patients through compassionate care, open communication, and shared decision-making. She believes that education is a powerful tool for empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, she provides individualized cardiovascular care focused on each patient’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle.
